We do monitor the aggregate number of visitors to different pages of this site and will gather and store certain information about your visit that does not identify you personally. Information collected is used by the Department of Finance only to improve the content of our website and to help us understand how you are using our website. We will work to continually improve the website to make it more useful to the public in learning about the California Budget.

The California Budget as presented on this site contains three separate presentations:

• The Governor's Proposed Budget, available on or before January 10 of each year.
• The Governor's Revised Budget, available mid-May of each year.
• The Enacted Budget as passed by the Legislature and signed by the Governor, available during the summer of each year.

All three presentations are developed as part of the Budget Process .
