Q: What is the best way to print a Budget Document?
A:
Each Agency Budget Chapter, Department Budget Chapter, and Budget Summary Chapter is available as a PDF file. From the Printable Budget Documents section of the web page, you will be able to access each PDF file. To access the entire Proposed Budget Summary PDF file, click here: Proposed Budget Summary Overview. Proposed Budget Summary and Proposed Governor's Budget PDF files can also be accessed from the following Web site: DOF Historical Documents.

All PDF files can be printed using Adobe Acrobat software. Refer to Viewing PDF Files for additional information.

Q: Can I print a web page?
A:
Any screen can be printed using your browser’s Print feature. Only screen content will be printed, the navigation bars will not be printed.
Note: Microsoft Windows users may experience text on the right margin not printing correctly. You may get around this problem in the following ways:
 
  • Go to the File menu of your browser and set the left and right margins to be 0.75" or less.
  • Go to the File menu and define the paper to print in landscape mode.
  • MacOS users who notice this right margin printing problem can simply click on the "fit to page" setting in the Print Preview option of the web browser's File menu.

    Proposed Budget Summary The Proposed Budget Summary includes the Governor's goals and objectives for the forthcoming year and highlights significant issues, policies, and initiatives of the Administration reflected in the Governor's Budget.
    Proposed Budget Detail The Proposed Budget Detail web page provides a list of the Departments grouped by agency area included in the Budget. After selecting a Department from the Proposed Budget Detail web page, you will be able to access detailed budget information for the departments related to the Agency that you selected.
    Budget References The Budget References web page identifies the most requested budget related reference items that can help someone further understand the budget information and budget process.
    eBudget Search eBudget Search provides a basic and an advanced search interface. Basic Search lets you search for simple words and terms, while Advanced Search offers criteria for narrowing or customizing your search.

    Department Index The Department Index is an alphabetical index of all state departments included in the Budget. This index can be used to quickly access information for a specific department.

    Q: What information does each of the right-side menu options link to?
    A: The right-side menu options are not available on all web pages. The right-side menu is dynamic (meaning that the menu options will change based on the web page that you are on.) You will only see a right-side menu if there is additional information available related to the Agency, Department, or Budget Summary section you are viewing. For example, if you are on the main web page to begin viewing the budget details of a selected Department, you will have access to a right-side menu that will provide links to the various web pages within this website that contain additional information related to the Department.

    A: To quickly access a specific Department’s budget details, use the Department Index by Name. The Department Index is an alphabetical index of all state departments included in the Budget. If you know the four digit Department Organization Code use the Department Index by Code.
