Transportation

The mission of the Transportation Agency is to develop and coordinate the policies and programs of the state's transportation entities to achieve the state's mobility, safety and air quality objectives from its transportation system. The Agency oversees and coordinates the activities of the Departments of Transportation, Motor Vehicles, and the California Highway Patrol; and the following boards and commissions: the High-Speed Rail Authority, the California Transportation Commission and the Board of Pilot Commissioners.
