In 2006-07, K-12 schools had total revenues of $67.1 billion (62% from state funds, 21% from local taxes, 10% from federal funds, and 7% from miscellaneous local revenues).  In 2007-08, K-12 schools have estimated revenues of $70.7 billion (62% from state funds, 22% from local taxes, 9% from federal funds, and 7% from miscellaneous local revenues).  In 2008-09, K-12 school revenues are estimated at $68.5 billion (60% from state funds, 24% from local taxes, 9% from federal funds, and 7% from miscellaneous local revenues).
