In 2005-06, K-12 schools had total revenues of $63.5 billion (60% from state funds, 22% from local taxes, 11% from federal funds, and 7% from miscellaneous local revenues).  In 2006-07, K-12 schools have estimated revenues of $66.8 billion (62% from state funds, 21% from local taxes, 11% from federal funds, and 6% from miscellaneous local revenues).  In 2007-08, K-12 school revenues are estimated at $68.6 billion (61% from state funds, 23% from local taxes, 10% from federal funds, and 6% from miscellaneous local revenues).
